Description
Urban design gradually become its own field during the past century as a result of the requirement for effective communication between architects and urban and regional planners. Additionally, greater design abilities were required for urban scales such as streets, street blocks, town centers, city districts, new suburbs, cross-city infrastructure, etc. Since its inception, urban design has greatly grown in response to the increasingly complicated nature of public activity within and between structures.
