Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations

Description

Students are introduced to the historic and contemporary peoples, languages, cultures, and societies of the Near/Middle East by the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. Students can gain a multifaceted and interdisciplinary view on Near Middle Eastern cultures and languages through the focus. On their path to selecting from a wide range of study areas, undergraduate concentrators gain proficiency in one or more regional languages.
