Molecular and Cellular Biology

Description

Research excellence in contemporary cell biology, including protein targeting, membrane transport, signal transduction, cell-cell contact & development, cell growth & division, viral infection, and rare disorders, is a priority at the Department of Cell Biology. Our staff is committed to providing excellent instruction at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels in order to foster the growth of a new generation of outstanding researchers. Our goal at Maryland University is to create and deliver the best cell biological educational programmes possible. The education of students is given top attention in the dynamic research environment that Department members have established. Training and developing highly competent students who will pursue successful professions in the health sciences is our aim in this setting.
