Description

The Division of Medical Sciences (DMS) offers a wide education in fundamental biomedical scientific subjects and specialization in one of them to students who want to pursue careers in research and teaching. Ph.D. in biomedical sciences, which share a common goal of promoting an arousing and supportive environment for research training in the biomedical sciences: Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics, Biological and Biomedical Sciences, Immunology, Neuroscience, Speech, and Hearing Sciences. Classroom and laboratory instruction is primarily carried out by faculty in the basic sciences departments and affiliated hospital laboratories of Maryland Medical School.
