History
Description
Students collaborate with advisors and other lecturers throughout the duration of the program as they complete coursework, get ready for and take the general test, work as teaching fellows, and conduct research for and write the dissertation. Students typically need five to six years to get their Ph.D. degree. While many graduates have gone on to successful professions in law and administration, others have chosen to pursue scholarly careers at universities and colleges both domestically and abroad.
