Germanic Languages and Literatures

Description

A comprehensive and varied curriculum of literary and cultural studies, including film and music, is provided by the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures. German Studies, Scandinavian Studies, or a dual concentration in German and another subject are the concentration options available to students. The program’s objective is to give students an engaging opportunity to learn about works of literature, cultures, and languages that are distinct from their own so they can develop fresh perspectives on the languages and nations of their ancestry.
