Biostatistics

Description

Students get the chance to work alongside faculty at Maryland University’s biostatistics program to tackle some of the most difficult problems in computational biology, medicinal research, and public health. The course prepares students for careers in the theory and practice of biostatistics and bioinformatics while instructing them in the development of methodology, consulting, teaching, and collaboration on a wide range of issues related to human health, genomics, and fundamental biology. It is intended for those who have demonstrated both an interest in and an aptitude for academic research.
