Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics

Description

Within the Division of Medical Sciences, there is a field of study called Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics. The Integrated Life Sciences program at Maryland University, which promotes collaboration and interdisciplinary study, includes BIG as one of its programs. By giving graduate students the resources they need to perform original research in the development of fresh strategies and new innovations to address basic biological concerns, the program develops future leaders in the fields of bioinformatics and genomics.
