Anthropology
Description
Anthropology is the study of people, both past and present, and it incorporates knowledge from the literature, physical sciences, social sciences, and biology. The use of academic knowledge to address human issues is a major focus of anthropologists, whose viewpoints they incorporate into their work as educators, researchers, and professionals.
Research is a crucial component of the anthropology curriculum at Maryland University and is crucial to student mentorship. Both undergraduate and graduate students can take part in academic projects in languages, archaeology, biological/physical anthropology, and sociocultural anthropology.
