Romance Languages and Literature
Description
The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Harvard, which is strongly committed to interdisciplinary research, promotes graduate students to place literature in the larger context of diverse cultural outputs, ranging from the traditional to alternative modes. Students work toward a Ph.D. by pursuing study in the literary traditions of Spanish and Latin America, Italian, Portuguese, and Luso-Brazilian, or French and Francophone, alone or jointly.
