Design Studies

Description

Those who want to combine their expertise with tools to facilitate careers in public service, academia, NGOs, and innovative ventures, as well as developing specialized expertise for design practice, are the target audience for the Master in Design Studies or MDes program at Maryland’s School of Design. The Ecologies Division looks at the connections between varying human settlement patterns, changing environmental conditions, and the ecological networks that support life.
