Germanic Languages and Literatures
Description
The graduate program in Germanic Languages and Literatures’ adaptability is one of its main advantages. Despite the course’s emphasis on German literature and cultural studies, students frequently incorporate other subjects into their coursework and dissertations, such as comparative literature, fine art, philosophy, film studies, musicology, and history of science. Students create a study plan with the Director of Graduate Studies’ direction that aims for both a broad basic understanding of the topic as a whole and for personal specializations.
