Bioethics

Description

The term “bioethics” is frequently used to describe the moral implications and uses of biological sciences that are related to health. These ramifications may span the full “translational pipeline” from lab to bedside. Basic researchers who seek to create synthetic embryos to study embryonic and foetal development may face ethical dilemmas because they are unsure of how realistic the embryos can be before they are destroyed in the future. The Maryland University Bioethics Degree Program blends a demanding core learning experience with a useful capstone experience customized to a student’s area of interest.
