Astrophysics
Description
Astrophysics is a branch of physics or science program that concentrates on the investigation of matter and radiation in the universe as they are understood by the physical laws. Through a program of both observational and theoretical studies, students are introduced to a wide spectrum of phenomena. This curriculum develops a general overview of the known features of the cosmos from a current physics base. Joint concentrations in astrophysics are available with other departments.
